Team Hamilton is a trucking team operated by Sean and Michelle Hamilton under Opal Hill ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through our apps, websites and services (the "Services"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Contact information, such as your name and email address.
Account sign-in information. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile (name, email address) and only the access you approve on Google's consent screen.
Location data, when you allow it on your device. This can include location collected in the background while a feature that needs it is active.
Content you provide, such as photos, documents, files and notes you upload or create.
Usage and device data, such as app version, device type, error logs and when features are used.
How we use information
We use information only to provide, operate, maintain and improve the Services, for example to run dispatch, trip-tracking and alert features, keep records, provide support, and keep the Services secure. We do not use your information for advertising.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties, except:
service providers we rely on to run the Services (for example, Google cloud services), only as needed to operate them;
information you choose to send to someone, such as a status update to a carrier or business partner;
when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, us or others.
Google user data
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We access only the Google data you authorize, use it only to provide the features you use, and do not sell it, use it for advertising, or let people read it except with your permission, for security, or as required by law.
Retention and deletion
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, business and tax records). You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing us. You can also revoke our access to your Google account at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, such as encrypted connections and access limited to the people who need it, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The Services are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
